Our 2nd graders learned to identify and sequence
stages in the life cycle of a frog. First we mentioned animals which go through
several changes before they become adults. Then we read a book ‘Is that a
frog?’ (Macmillan Children’s Readers). Finally, the children reconstructed the
stages using Lego bricks and labelled them.
