Playing and learning about Symmetry

The students of Class 2 learnt by doing the concept of symmetry.
This activity with lego bricks help children learn this concept .

Symmetry is when one shape becomes exactly like another if you flip, slide or turn it.

 The simplest type of Symmetry is "Reflection" (or "Mirror") Symmetry, as shown in the following pictures.

Next steps will be Rotational Symmetry and Point Symmetry.

This educational lego lab provides children with valuable practise and reinforce learning in a fun way either on their own  or in pairs.
