Father's Day

Father’s Day (El Día del Padre in Spanish) is celebrated in Spain on St. Joseph’s Day which falls on March 19. St. Joseph’s Day is a  feast day designated to commemorate the life of Joseph, husband of Mary, an example of what a good husband and father is for his role within the Holy Family.
This holiday is very important in Spain as it acknowledges the contribution of fathers within the family and society as a whole. It is also the time to honor those family members and friends who fulfill the role of father-figures. In Spain, it is not uncommon for the whole family to get together for a big meal and to give small gifts to their father. In year two, mothers and their children worked together to make a craft and give it to their fathers on their day. It was very nice!

The Creation

The creation of the world from the Holy Bible.
"God separated the light from the darkness..."

"God called the dry land the earth and the basin of the water He called the sea..."

God said- Let the earth bring forth vegetation....- and so it happened.

"God created all kind of animals and blessed them..."

"God created man in his image.....God blessed them saying -Be fertile and multiply..."
