In Math we calculate with money - Euro and Cent. To simulate a real life situation for the children, we organized a cake sale. Every pupil of the class baked a cake at home and than we sell them at school. It was hard work for the children, but in the end they earned their first own money and were really proud of their work.
The children wished to spend the money for some new books for our libary in class and donate some money for a social project in our hometown.

Easter is an occasion to understand its religious meaning and its symbols." Ex ovo omnia",said the ancient Romans. Meanwhile the Easter bunny is the symbol of new life for the Anglosaxons.An Easter egg hunt in the school garden,why not?

After the Polish S
school partner also in Saronno we go on working on chocolate. Our students discovered the production of chocolate from the beans to the chocolate bars.
A very interesting crosscuricular activity ended with a cooking lab on the main road of Saronno.
The children of Ignoto Militi Primari School learnt by observing and tasting.
The "cours elementaire 1" aged 7. Pupils prepared a bulletin board for the exhibition on which they explained the origins of the chocolate and its arrival in Europe.
