Mr. Bucket

The father of two students of our school is a professional actor in the company:

Last Wednesday we enjoyed a lot with his performance in our school. It all starts in a very simple way... Let me introduce you to Mr. Bucket... He seems very nice, but there is a problem, he refuses to act!

Our narrator, wants to tell us a story he has read, The Wizar of Oz. As Mr. Bucket does not want to act, he calls out for volunteer... No problem! Here they are:

Little by little, with the help of a few disguises that come out from Mr Bucket,  he turns children into actors!

Have a look at Aunty Emma!

He tells the students what they have to say and how they have to say it.
Wonderful experience both for the "actors" and the audience.

WARSAW MERMAID LEGEND

 Primary School "Ignoto Militi"

Saronno - Varese

Italy

Classrooms V A and V B

WARSAW MERMAID LEGEND

Students have listened to the Polish legend about a Warsaw Mermaid.

They have identified the main characters.

They have created a legend scene with a paper mosaic.

They have cut some coloured sheets in different sizes.

According the legend, a Mermaid swimming in the sea stopped on the riverbank near the Old Town rest.

She liked this place and she decided to stay.

A local fisherman living nearby noticed her...

Later, a rich merchant trapped the Mermaid and he imprisoned her in a wooden hut.

A young fisherman heard Mermaid's cry and with his mates released her .

The Mermaid promised them to help whenever it would be needed.

Ever since, the Mermaid, armed with sword and shield, has been ready to help and protect the city and its citizens.

                                         Thank you for your hospitality!

Minotaur

Let’s build a labyrinth with felt-pens.

Ariadne gave a ball of wool to Theseus. He  unrolled it as he was walking in the labyrinth.

“You’ll just have to roll it back and you’ll find the way back!”.

·
Theseus went into the maze and found the Minotaur. They  fought for a long time until Theseus was successful in killing him. After that, he rolled the wool back and  he found his way to exit.

The glorious Theseus sailed away from Crete, immediately.
But he forgot to hoist the white sail instead of the black one. Aegean, Theseus father, saw the ship with black sail on the horizon and he thought his son was dead.
He was  hopeless and jumped into the sea around the Greek coast.
From that day on, that area was called Aegean Sea.
