The European Day of Languages

Polish is one of the hardest languages so it is a good reason for children to learn  foreign languages
- 5 years old pupils know about it very well. They learned by using Lego the names of colours in English, French, Spanish, Italian and German.

EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES (september 26)

Today with the 7 years old pupils we tried to find all the different foreign words that we use in our french language.
It started with ciao, vasistas, pizza, mozzarella, aficionado to end with Sandwich, brushing parking week end and so on.
But the funniest was when we heard the sound that animals make according to the language and the country.

European day of Languages

To celebrate the European Day of Languages, Fifth Year pupils investigated different aspects about different languages.  They had to look for the places where the language is spoken, some useful words, a palindrome, how to say 'happy birthday' and some animal sounds. Then, they created a poster.
They enjoyed learning about your languages (German, Polish, French, Italian) and also about Portuguese.
