In the Roman Times...

Year 6 students have been using LEGO STORY STARTER SET in order to create scenes from Ancient Rome. Afterwards, they have described their creations. Can you try to match each description to the corresponding scene? Please, feel free to write comments...

DESCRIPTION A:

We are going to talk about the Roman village. In the Roman village there are some people living there and there are some people fighting other people who want to enter the village. There is a tower and in the tower, there is a man with arrows looking at the enemies. There is also a dead hangman. Behind the tower there is a treasure. If you pass the tower, you are in the village. There is a mother with her baby on a balcony. There is a garden with a lake. In the lake there are snakes and fish. There is a path to enter the house. 

DESCRIPTION B: 

In our building there are two towers, there is a prince in one tower and a princess in the other. There is also a castle with a tower with chains where there are prisioners. There are two guards. In front of the castle there is a pit with fish, snakes and frogs and a bridge with bats. When you cross the bridge, there is a meadow with many plants and animals. There are two guard dogs. 

DESCRIPTION C:

The most important thing in our town is the jail. In this jail there were prisioners. These prisioners were chained and ate not much food. The food store was near the jail. It was made of stone and people went to it to buy food like bananas, bread, ice cream, meat, potatoes or butter. On the left side of the town there was a lake. This lake was full of fish. People liked to fish trouts. The town was surrounded by a defensive wal and the big door that communicates it with the outside were protected by two soldiers. On top of the jail the Queen and the King were sat. 

DESCRIPTION D:

There was a bar. Inside it there are people eating bread made in the fornace. There was a petshop with frogs, cats, dogs and an assistant. There was a slave shop with a guard in a tower and a police dog. There was a resources shop with weapons, food and gold. Finally, there was a forest with a small river, a small bridge and a Roman warrior spying to another warrior from another proclamation.

DESCRIPTION E:

There is a Roman soldier that gave to the Emperor a prisioner obtained in the battle. On the left ther is a tower with a Roman soldier. You can see Roman ruins. On the right the rest of an amphitheatre where you can see a gladiator battle. The gladiator that loses goes to the palace of the Emperor to be beheaded. 

DESCRIPTION F:

In this amphitheatre you can see many shows. They represent different times in history. There are gladiators and many people. There are shops with food and objects.
