The European's Teacher Toolkit

CREATING TOMORROW'S SCHOOLS TODAY is a project whose main aim is to compile a multidisciplinary and multilevel EUROPEAN TEACHER'S TOOLKIT packed with didactic resources and practical classroom strategies that will enable European teachers to cope with the following needs:

- teaching foreign languages and other subjects employing PLAYMOBIL, LEGO and SCHLEICH toys, which are top favourite ones among European kids
- meeting the demands of different learning styles
- stimulating their own creativity
- adding spice to their teaching
- challenging the gifted and the disruptive students
- developing thinking skills
- embeding study skills
- delivering citizenship
- creating true independence
- improving the quality and efficiency of education
- integrating pupils with special needs

Therefore the rationale of this project is to make European teachers aware that we should be as concerned with HOW we teach as we traditionally have been concerned with WHAT we teach.

The above mentioned didactic resources and practical classroom strategies will be shared online and during the scheduled six transnational project meetings so that they can be tested later by project participants and eventually classified both in levels and disciplines by the Coordinator of the project. The final step would be the compilation of the resultant good practices in the Blog of the Project (The European Teacher's Toolkit), which will be open to all the teachers around Europe through the following link:
