How to draw lines

In the 6 years old program, pupils have to learn how to draw lines with a ruler.

The instructions to follow were:

- To draw paper strips.

- To cut them up with scissors.

- Reorganize the strips to create a visual art work.

Pupils using the Blog to learn

Year 5 pupils have practiced reading comprehension with the post that Year 6 students and Maide made. They have learnt as well ICT skills such as searching on the blog and commenting on it.

We are thinking about doing more activities like this one and this other by Joanna Short messages. The pupils really like taking part on the Blog and even more if they know that the activity has been created by other pupils.

PARIS

On this black Monday, Young pupils aged 6 drew white doves, symbol of peace ; they only wrote one word: PAIX.
And at 10 o'clock in the morning the elderly pupils did one minute 's silence in memory of the victims in Paris.

Pointillism

WITH THE PUPILS AGED 6, WE DECIDED TO WORK ON THE PAINTING OF THE FRENCH ARTIST GEORGES SEURAT KNOWN AS THE PIONEER OF THE POINTILLISM.

FIRST , THEY TO DRAW WITH A PENCIL A LANDSCAPE WITH, AT LEAST ONE TREE.

THEN, THEY HAD TO GO BACK ON THE LINES MAKING POINTS WITH A SWAB DIPPED INTO THE PAINT.

FINALLY, THEY HAD TO FILL IN THE BLANKS IN THE SAME WAY.

A special public day at our Erich Kästner Primary School A parents- pupils- media- day

The Ministery of Education in Thuringia has choosen our school for opening of two important projects to the public. There is a handout advice for parents in using TV and different channels matching to the development of the children. It's called "Flimmo". And appropiate to this an advice in using the internet called "Internet- ABC".
Together we've organised this day of using different medias on Saturday, the 14th of November. There were a lot of people in our school on this day. We offered interesting workshops for pupils and parents together. There was a large number of activities around for the smaller sibblings- and pupils, too. In the hall you could buy some toys, books,...in a flea market. You could have a cup of coffee and some cake or a slice of bread with schmalz.
All guests and children were feeling good  while learning together and spending time together.
A great day for all!

Lego Exhibition in Bialystok

The Lego Exhibition was very famous in our town. We decided to have a look as well. As we entered, there was the tallest man in the world standing right in front of us:

Among them there is our national pride - the National Stadium:

After seeing the exhibition we had time to play and build:

We had a chance to express our love for school with Lego as well:

We came back happily to a real world waiting for...:

Saturday and Sunday lego

G.Rodari Primary  school open for the all weekend to citizenship

 The school  hall, the gym and th canteen are crowded. Saturday  visitors 1.280.Wow!
A great  dissemination  for our Erasmus project.

There is also a coffee bar organized by parents.

In the gym, a copy of  the Sanctuary of Saronno  with Lego  bricks, Thanks to Lego Italy and Afol Sleghiano  la Fantasia. 

 Everyone  gas a great  fun with Build and rebuild  activity . We are ready for another full day!

Great event on 13rd ,14th and 15 th November for all lego fans and supporters.

On the 13rd all classes  of Primary  school  G.Rodari  are involved in Lego Labs.
