TASTE AND COLOURS
As part of "the week of taste", all the pupils from nursery school could discover many different flavors. Each day kids came to school all dressed in the same colour. For exemple, Monday was a white day with a tasting of only white food such as coconut, lychees, garlic and prawn crips. And each day had its own colour: Orange, Green and Yellow. This friendly Time offered the possibility to share different learning according to the level of each class and its project. The youngest concentrated on colours and prepared a soup with vegetables bought in the market with their teachers. The 4 years old pupils discovered food coming from the 5 continents. And for the oldest that was the occasion to develop their tasting qualities. Through different workshops they learnt how to associate food in different categories such as salty, sweet, acid or bitter.
