The Greek Phalanx

The Greek Phalanx
Teacher:
Maria Francesca Vacca

The students prepared the project about Iliad focusing on the main parts of Greek soldiers’ armors.
Using cardboard they drew, cut and coloured helmets, shields and swords to play the part of the soldier hoplite.
The children showed a big enthusiasm to represent the typical Greek fighting formation: the phalanx.

and now... in action, for historical Carnival Parade in the school gym.
