Spatial position relationship in math

Last week our children had to work with a partner in math. They sat back to back and one of them build something with the Lego learn to learn Set. Now the pupil had to explain to his partner what he has to do to reconstruct this building. The aim was that both buildings are the same. They did a good job with lots of fun.

The water cycle

First children discussed what they know about the water cycle. They also identified the key words: sun, river, sea, ocean, land, mountain, cloud, rain, wind, water. They were also introduced to the vocabulary connected with the water cycle process such as evaporation, condensation and precipitation. Then we used the Internet to find out more information about the water cycle.
At the end, children designed the water cycle stages.

Message in a bottle

Classes 1 ,G.Rodari Primary school, Saronno, were involved in a marketing design project.
They have to draw the label for plastic water bottles.

They have to use the label to send a message to people about diversity as a richness for the world not a problem.
They were really creative.
Some compared the human beings to drops of water, small as one but big and useful as a whole.
Others to different kind of leaves of the same tree.
and moreover, diffent tastes of icecream or fruit:  it is better a fruit salad than a single fruit, isn't it?The results were great!

We post all of their drawings: fingers crossed!

Lego bricks and Religious Education in Primary

The teacher of Religious Education in  Primary school Rodari, Patrizia Prada, tried to involved more chidren in reading episodes about the life of Jesus and the apostles.
The children read and searched information about Peter: his name, Peter (GreekΠετρος, "rock")[ also called Simon (CephasPeter.
The  Roman Catholic Church, Ortodox Church, Luteran Church and Anglican Communion  consider Simon Peter a saint. Roman Catholics believe that the Pope is Peter's successor. For this reason, he is the rightful head of all other bishops.
The children built  fishing boats and discuss with classmates about the episode.

They imagined the event and the meeting between Jesus and Peter.

Some children decide to use wooden bricks to create Peter and his friends' ship
Meanwhile I was writing the word friend's ship a dicovered the inner meaning of friendship! interesting! very intersting!
All the pupils were really involved.
