Carnival time

Thanks Aleksandra Koz for your idea of Carnival masks. In Italy Carnival is very popular.
Not only children dress up in different and special ways but also adults.
Would you like to be the King or Queen of Carnival?

You Can dress up however you want: like a Princess or a pirate or...

Parties are plenty of coloured confettis and paper stripes .

Why don't we dress up as Lego bricks?

You need only cardboard and plastic glasses in different colors.

Our motto is:all

different but all necessary to build a great work.

A colorful Carnival party in the schoolyard with parents and friends.

The epiphany

Every year, on the 6th of January, we celebrate the epiphany which comemorates the visit of the 3 magis to the infant Jesus.
This particuliar day, we share the "FRENCH KING CAKE".
It can be a bun with candied fruits or a pastry with almond pasta.
But we all wish the same thing : being the one who gets the charm and wears the golden crown.
We create the crowns in classes.
Here are our little queens and kings.

Little movies about learning with partners in year 1 and 4

Since the beginning of the term our year 1 and 4 work together as a partner class. At the beginning of the year the older pupils showed the little ones the school building, explained some rules and carried them out for the playground. We went hiking and to the theater together. Regularly we meet to read out for each other or learn with LEGO and Playmobile. Last time we worked the first time with the "LEGO Movie App" together. Here are the little results of their first own movies.

Feedback by Welsh pupils about the Erasmus Meeting in Wales

After our meeting in Wales the Welsh pupils in year 3 created a little book about the different delegations. Really lovely feedbacks!!!

Charity Concert in our school

Every year in December our school organizes a charity concert. This year we raised money for a little, two-year-old Gosia, whose heart has a failure. She needs to be operated on, and we tried to help her as much as possible.

We always bid the works of our student's, so everything that appears during the auctions is hand-made. There are also many students involved in the whole process of preparation.

During the event many students perform, e.g. they sing, dance or play an instrument. Parents also contribute by baking delicious cakes.

Traditionally, we have 'special performance' at the end of the show. Our teachers always prepare some extra dance. This year it was Swan Lake. Everyone had so much fun.

LEGO + Religious Education = a lot of fun!

As we already know, everybody loves LEGO. We use it for fun and we use it to learn. It is easy to use LEGO in maths lessons, but it's very unusual to use it in R.E. lessons.

Our second graders used the blocks to create the world from the start, from its very beginnings, just as God did.

So take a look and see what we created.

Good Practices for Educational Success
