On 26th November 2018 our school celebrated
International Teddy Bear Day. Each child came to school with their favourite
plush toy. There were different activities related to that day. The youngest
pupils had teddy bear gymnastics and games. There were also teddy bear jigsaw
puzzles, memo games and mathematics. Everybody enjoyed poems and rhymes about teddies. Kids learnt how teddy
bears came to be named after president Theodore Roosevelt. They also described the
appearance of different teddy bears, tasted gingerbread bears and painted
beautiful portraits of their favourite plush toys. Our pupils’ parents celebrated
Teddy Bear Day with us. It was so much fun.

Colour a flower
During our last
classes the 4th graders decided to color white flowers. For our experiment, we
needed a few white flowers, several packages of food dyes and some jars with
water. We didn’t have to wait long for the final effect. White flower petals started
changing color after just a few hours. We like
exploring the world through experiments.
